The Taming of the Shrew
by William Shakespeare
April 27**, 28, 29, May 5, 6, 7*, 12, 13, 2017
Shakespeare’s controversial and, in our politically correct age, much-maligned play is actually a pretty straightforward comedy. It examines the eternal battle between the sexes. When chauvinist, sexist pig Petruchio sets his sights on the shrewish harridan Kate, magical sparks fly. These two have no idea what it takes to forge a marriage of equals, until they meet their perfect match.
