Church and Society Award to Sharon Hedeen

Sharon Hedeen is this year’s recipient of the Elaine Wareham Award, announced during the February 3 annual meeting of the congregation. Sharon was recognized for her longtime and constant involvement at FPC, including leadership efforts with the monthly “Everyone a Neighbor Day” outreach.
The award was established the 1983 death of member Elaine Wareham, whose example showed that Christian witness should extend beyond the local church and be a compelling force in one's daily life.
