Smock Senior Ministries is a Presbyterian ministry of Presbyterian congregations in Indiana to enhance health, education, welfare and happiness for older adults. Every third Thursday in McKay Hall from 10am to 1pm. Presbyterians and their friends meet for spiritual growth, education, fellowship, lunch, and total life enrichment. Lunch is $5. Call the office for a reservation, 426-7421 X-132

Lifelong Learning Institute
Smock Lifelong Learning Institute- Attention all Presbyterians over 50: Beginning in March 2017, Smock will offer lifelong learning classes taught by professionals in their fields of expertise. Classes will run from 10:30am to noon with lunch provided. Each class will be four consecutive Tuesdays. The first class begins March 7 and ends March 28 and is titled, Are Your Affairs in Order? (Financial, Legal and Spiritual Planning for Those Over 50). It will be taught by three professionals: an investment adviser, an attorney and Rev. Bill Haworth, Smock Executive Director. A life-time fitness class geared toward flexibility, balance and strengthening of those muscles we use every day. 3B classes meet in McKay Hall on Mon., Wed., and Fri., from 1:30-2:30pm. All senior adults over 50 years old are invited and welcome. Class limited to 30. Please call 426-7421, ext.131 to sign up. The free classes consist of both men and women (varied in age) and are full of fun, fellowship, and fitness exercises. The focus is holistic, using tried and true physical therapy movements, healthy brain exercises, and encouraging spiritual, emotional, and social experiences in each class gathering.
Provides volunteer drivers to transport older and shut-in Presbyterians for medical appointments, limited shopping, 3B classes, and Presby-Days. Please call the Weekday Transportation Coordinator (Bonnie Moore, 432-1325) at least 48 hours before your appointment or transportation need. Please limit the Smock volunteer drivers to do no more than a 3-hour wait from pickup to return pickup.

Medicare Prescription (Part "D") Assistance
Two computers are now available for online searching for best plan to meet needs of specific medications. A trained counselor will guide you through the process. Make a list of your medications and dosage, and then call the Smock office for an appointment (426-7421 X-131).
